Sound quality during interviews
These podcasts are often interesting but severely let down by really bad sound quality during the interviews with artists. Microphones are placed too far away, so the voices sound distant, are not loud enough (requiring adjustments to the volume up when there is an interview and down again when there is music). This is so easy to fix and would make these podcasts much more enjoyable. A magazine devoted to recordings should really know this ...

More reviews of The Gramophone Classical Music Podcast
Sound recording and edits are not always perfect, but the content is great. To listen at home.

I look forward to the Gramophone podcast arriving each week but then struggle to listen to it when out walking because the recording levels on interviews are often set too low. Very frustrating. This needs to be fixed.
