the hosts voice though...
the host does a good job of researching the subjects, but, and here is the killer for me. she has one of the most annoying, adolescent, sing along, public library kids storytime voices in podcasting history. might just be my personal preference, but i cant listen to her speak any longer. your mileage may vary.

Great stories told well. The host/author's voice is idiosyncratic and not the usual "radio" voice, but I like it. I'd rather have the author tell the story than another host.Read full review »

Neat idea for a podcast. Decent material. Unfortunately the awful female narrator ruins it. She's impossible to listen to. Trying to hard to enunciate and overplay her words. I had to stop listening after 15 mins. I couldn't take her awful voice anymore.Read full review »

Unique premise, interesting subject, good production. I like the host as well; not every radio voice has to be a bassy dude.
