“It’s taken me 7 months to get round to leaving this review, ever since stumbling across the podcast in the winter of 2020 and what a delight it has been! First I browsed back & forward through the episodes, in the similar manner one might browse through a copy of White Dwarf. First devouring my favourite games from the past, and later flicking through other episodes to discovering hidden gems of games I have never heard off!
I really like Dirk’s relaxed interview style, he gives his guests plenty of room to speak & never makes the show about himself. The banter with the erudite rules lawyer Judge Blythy is of course one of the highlights, and never fails to bring a smile to my face on my morning dog walk. The podcast has done so much to create an affectionate, supportive community around RPGs and really should be applauded. Thank you so much Dirk & Blythy for brightening up these difficult covid days.”
