long walk with a kindred person
Kelly’s minimalist, traveling lifestyle is a lived inquiry into her own relationship with the land known (by dominant culture) as North America. She’s looking for other passionate creatives who have made intimate dialogues with place their central focus — and she finds them, and interviews them in this podcast. Always tuned in to the big stories that make up the cultural fabric of the places she travels through, Kelly draws out cozy tales of danger, rebellion and tenderness from an eclectic collection of mavericks. A Ground Shots episode is like a long walk with a kindred person, or a late night by a fireside where each question brings you closer to edgy, vulnerable and contradictory truths at the core of the human-land relationship today. Plug into the questions — tune in now!

Kelly has s brilliant and I’m so glad she’s out there doing what she does. Love it when the podcast turns to medicinal plants and herbalism stuff but appreciate that it encompasses far more than that.
