ADHD
The episode on ADHD was the most informative and well explained in Laymans terms about ADHD I have ever heard. My son was diagnosed with ADHD and also went on Ritalin and Adderall. Me being a young mother thought this was what we needed to do. As soon as he got on Ritalin, he lost his appetite. I took him back and they changed him to Adderall, which was a new drug at the time he turned into a very lethargic, sad 12-year-old, which was completely completely unlike him. This was before we had such things as WebMD and certainly not podcasts or webpages to refer to. I knew in my gut that it had something to do with his diet and the only thing I could find back, then was taking red food out of his diet. Now I have a grandson that I am raising who is 13 years old and diagnosed with ADHD as well and also ODD and another diagnosis. He has become overweight and is generally not happy. This episode has given me much hope and I will be adjusting his diet. It will be tough to get him off the boxes, bags and barcodes, but as long as it’s not in the house, he’s less likely to consume. Thanks, Dr. Axe! Keep doing what you’re doing! You will make a difference and maybe we can reverse the climb of unnecessary chemicals in our kids bodies!

Just listened to your episode about things to do in your 50s for longevity. So many practical, helpful suggestions in there — including things like caring for ourselves as we care for others…which is so easy to ignore. Thank you! Saving this one to listen to again and again.
