I grew up in Houston in the early 90’s and never thought of the city as being unique until I moved away for college in New York and started to travel around the world. There is a sense of pride when I listen to a DJ Screw tape or wearing an Astros jersey with the bright colors. Even though I maybe the only one that knows about the HOU shirt that I’m wearing, I know what it represents and it’s simply, “Where I’m from!” This uniqueness of Houston is further explored by this podcast where I can find new and different aspects or people from the H. Thanks for the stories as I sit literally on the other side of the world, I turn on the H, close my eyes as feel that I’m at ‘H’ome.

During my first year of college this has been a great reminder of my home, H Town. Luke does a great job finding the stories and people that truly do remind me of the Houston I love. Just another one of Luke's great podcasts. For sure worth a subscribe.Read full review »
