As a Senior Attorney Advisor with the Justice Department, for 15 years Katharine guided the Department through its response to victims in cases like the Boston Marathon bombing, Bernie Madoff, and the violence in Charlottesville. She has been an advocate, counselor, and legal advisor for victims for more than twenty-five years.
