Depth and backstory needed
Adding someone to the panel who knows the book and the 1963 movie would have added so much depth to the discussion. There are so many Easter eggs to the book and the first movie (let’s all just agree to forget about the remake). No-one on the panel mentioned the cameo-actor from the first movie, and no-one could connect the book characters to their Netflix counterparts. Yes, the series is good on its own. But if you’re going to do a podcast about something with such rich source material, it’s probably a good idea to have some who can discuss the deep backstory.

Bad
Hosts should do some (a lot) of research concerning the book.

I found this podcast waaay after the series release, but really enjoyed the discussion. Not too chatty, well structured conversation. Although I wish they delved more into the bowler hat ghost - he scared the crap outta me!!?

What is it with you overexcited American women who talk on the podcasts?? Mostly inane drivel interspersed with manic laughter (why???) and every sentence containing the word “like” every 10th word. Sorry dudes, unsubscribing from this one.
