Host lacks critical thinking skills--ALARMING
Appalling intro. The host Estee Lalonde relates her first rally where she "pretty quickly realized that she was on the wrong side" just because of loud angry shouting and graphic signs of her and her friend's pro-life demonstrators and the fun and rainbow flag the counter protesters had. Not exactly the most incisive of reasoning. (the LGBT symbol at an abortion protest? I think Ms Lalonde is misremembering.) The interview which forms the bulk of the pod was good only because the subject was a lively articulate poet who also was prepped by the production staff it seems, as Estee let slip. Even though this pod is categorized as personal journal, the less I hear from the host and her superficial reasoning and tired empty sayings (poetry is hard, the arts are great media for protesting, protesting is important), the better the product. 2 stars for Nina Donovan, the production team and Estee's voice. Estee has a great voice but it's too bad she doesn't have a message.

Good job, Estee! Your dedication to growing as a nasty woman or as a human in general is really fun to watch and listen to!
