After following Estee for many years on YouTube and reading her book, Bloom, I was very interested to get to know her more on an intellectual level. She's very smart, very driven and very passionate and I love to hear that from people. I love knowing what they have to share about different topics. However, I was distracted the whole time by the noises in the background. They drove me nuts! I had to shut it off because I couldn't stand hearing those clips while she was speaking! I wanted to know her thoughts and I wanted to hear who she was speaking to, but I couldn't stop paying attention to the little noises and sound clips in the background. Either limiting or eliminating those will definitely help me as a listener in the future, but I can't finish the first episode with all that background noise. It's annoying. I wish it would've been like clips that she'd interacted with, that she'd introduced. It felt jumbled and messy. I also would've loved to hear from someone who hosted a protest as well. I think her first guest was so interesting, but in speaking about protests, let's also listen to those who put them on.

This podcast is so incredibly well produced and professional, at the same time as it's fun hearted and easy to listen to. This is even more astonishing given the not so light topic....Read full review »
