“Sweet lord. I love the insight from Jeff, he’s a really important ‘node’ in the comedy universe. But for the love of all that is annoying in this world, the unchecked ADHD performance almost makes me want to throw my phone into the river. I am going to train an AI that recognizes his voice and edits him out or replaces him with loud buzzing factory noises. Add to that the ever-growing number of commercials and the value drops to near-zero.
Bring on guests and they don’t get a word in edge-wise.
I think I’ve finally given up. Jeff rudely interrupts -guests- and in a few episodes actually answers questions addressed to the guest! In the most recent episodes he told Sheryl how she went about getting the job (it was all about him of course) after Susie asked her.
Then he silently fumed while Cheryl told the episode back story that was -her- story. Pathetic.
I was hoping that the repetition would attenuate itself over time… it has not. Sigh.”
