“I love Curb. I’ve seen Jeff & Susie live at a comedy fest in Michigan. I even bought Jeff’s book. During this podcast Jeff is a huge speed bump. He slows down momentum and derails Susie’s narrative by interrupting her to contribute stories about himself that add nothing to the experience. He even interrupts guests. He is exhausting and it makes me cringe to hear his lack of self awareness. Occasionally he compliments Susie but it sounds like a clunky, showy attempt to be a good guy who can periodically talk about someone other than himself. My favorite episodes are the ones without him. I may stop listening to the podcast because I am concerned listening to Jeff much longer will impact my ability to enjoy watching the show. Susie is great! Generous and warm with guests. Knows how to connect and listen to people.”
