“I especially love how he weaves historical primary source documents into the narrative structure and sticks to a mostly chronological telling of the rich history of Ancient Egypt. This podcast goes into more detail than the college courses I took on ancient Egypt and really delves into so many interesting facets of political intrigue, technological advances, artistic achievements, and daily life.
As a side note - I usually just listen and ignore the website, but the podcast blog does have excellent images and links to go beyond the episodes. On an apple podcast app you can read the text from the website entry while listening to the podcast, but to see the images, go to the blog!”
