Why did it end so abruptly?
The presenter has a very easy-to-listen-to voice and the subject matter is well-researched and free of polemics (sadly, rare for a podcast focussed on religion). I wish Elias had not (had to?) stop producing episodes. He mentioned in his self-introduction that he hoped to go on to a PhD in history. By now that goal might have been achieved. I hope so. Any students of his would surely be extremely lucky to have a mentor with the obvious love of his subject and the ability to explain complicated topics so succinctly. And with Islamic history it does help that he knows how to pronounce the names!

This is a great podcast. Easy narrative style and essential for western listeners to understand Arab culture and religion. Supplemented with Youtube videos to help with geography. Keep up the good work!
