Cern were originally a Drum & Bass production duo hailing from Auckland consisting of Olly Mackie & Jonny Beck. Together the duo forged their own sound and caught the attention of some of the scenes biggest labels. After the tragic passing of Jonny Cern, in 2008, Olly continued on with Cern, making the move to London and working his way through the UK ranks.
