“As a Latin teacher, I found this a good source of history readings. However, the reader is monotonal and often mispronounces names and words (according to either Classical or Ecclesiastical pronunciation). I would recommend this as a history resource but not a language resource.”

“One small point; I really can't understand the why he pronounces 'Pleb' as it's 'Pleeeeb'. I was taught classical civilization by Paul Moreland, and 'Pleeebs' would have got me a thick ear! Otherwise, very entertaining.”Read full review »
