“I can’t believe what BT Newberg has done with this series — it’s this incredible deep dive into the secret story behind almost everything we believe. I knew gender norms were far from iron-clad before listening, but I really had no idea the breadth of what’s been considered “normal” in different cultures. And I definitely did not realize that many of the issues we think of as very modern-day divides have taken very, very different forms over the years. The show is queer friendly, pro-feminist and very in tune with progressive attitudes... but it doesn’t focus on that, it focuses on the stories. BT is the perfect host, warm and non-judgy but definitely knows what he’s talking about. Give me more!”
