Poor pronunciation and glaring errors
Mr. Hogue is to be commended for trying to take on such a weighty topic, especially for free! However, his constant mispronunciation of the simplest of names wears on my nerves. There are also at least three glaring factual errors that I have encountered in the first 15 episodes. Please do your research or stay in your lane. One example: The episode on the 1948 election gives misinformation on the structural make-up and delegate allocation process of the GOP in 2016.

More reviews of The History of the Cold War Podcast
A lot of information has come out of the former Soviet Union since its collapse and this podcast reflects that. There are a number of anecdotes sprinkled through out the episodes that would never have come out during the Cold War. Definitely worth a listen.

I must have screwed something up and I am so sorry that I didn't catch it...Read full review »
