STILL Please be better
I used to enjoy listening to this podcast. However, the hosts more and more delight in tearing down believers to their political right. They critique Christian nationalism but refuse (are blind?) to equally critique the flaws of the politicized “Christian” left, this has become a divisive, unfair, and blind-to-their-own-hypocrisy podcast. I plead with the hosts to take out the log in their own eye. I want to listen to you, but I fear your Christianity is just as compromised with progressive (cloaked as “compassion”) political beliefs as Christian nationalists. Your vision of the nation is just colored blue, not red. Jesus sides with neither. Jesus is for his gospel. His righteousness (honor, esteem, acceptance) is based off of Jesus and gospel alone, not how many cheap political shots you win. You would do well to make the gospel your focus again. EDIT: echoing the other sentiment recently left, I too tried to keep listening, hoping for a change. Nope. Skye, Phil, and Kaitlyn (and even David French) double-down on taking Left-Wing talking points (many out of context) and using them to skewer Christians on the political right. Though I share some of their distaste and condemnation of Right-Wing causes claiming God’s view is their view, seriously….BUY A MIRROR HOLY POST! Your blindness is sickening and I will sadly no longer listen. You have become your own parody.

Phil's podcast convinced me to listen to podcasts. (Well, this is still the only one I listen to, but at least I've gotten my feet wet.) It's always fresh, fun, and full of insight about the world and spirituality. Most of all, I appreciate the "out of the box" talk about...Read full review »
