“This is an extremely inspiring and humbling story that kept me listening the entire way through. I listened to all the episodes in one day because I just couldn’t get enough. As a born and raised Canadian it was truly eye opening to hear this tale, and reminded me of my own family lineage with a grandmother who escaped Hungary during WW2 at the same age as Amir. I cried multiple times and very humbled by Amir’s experiences. I would recommend this podcast to anyone, especially those who may have some resistance against immigration and refugees coming to Canada. Please listen to this podcast, it’s a great story and also very well produced!”
