This is the best podcast ever by miles
One of the best podcasts ever. You can tell how much work have gone in making these. Not only they come up with excellent catchy music, but each band member also writes the song and make sure they’re hilarious. Alex Horne as we all know is a genius comedian, and he brings so much to the podcast. But the band really adds value to it. Ed Sheldrake is such a nice musician and has really produced some really nice music. Ben Reynolds is super with his drums but comes up with very nice and clever songs such as “I don’t know what Je be sais quoi means”. Joe Auckland is another brilliant musician and a really good lyrics writer, with superb vocals as well. He’s produced so much beauties for the podcasts along with Will collier esp Jorge and Jesus series. Willip is hilarious. He could’ve been a full time comedian as well. His jokes are just on point and is quick witted. Lastly but never the Leastly, Mark Brown, he appears to be the sanest but the more you listen to Horne section the more you realise he isn’t. He played a pocket saxophone like a pro in minutes which is very impressive but I absolutely love How good of a singer he’s. He is so professional in singing. Less is More is one of my fav English songs ever, from this podcast, Mark Brown sang A version of Beetles song “Ob La Di”(life goes on), and id love him to cover the whole song. He sang it amazingly. Amazing podcast, hope they continue to do it forever.

More reviews of The Horne Section Podcast
Initially liked it, but the songs are crap and they spend way too much time singing the names of people who’ve donated money. Why am I interested in that? Wish they’d cut the music and concentrate on the comedy. Also, Alex cannot sing, and yet he’s the singer who sings all the time. Ooft!

Pre-2020 this podcast made me laugh out loud on the tube. This year (including a full re-listen) it’s like having my weirder orchestra friends in my house with me. So much laughing. Such talented people. Thanks for the smiles.
