Description
There’s a saying, success has many fathers and failure an orphan. Film executive Richard Potter (@RichardPotter) has to take some credit for the success of the Scream franchise, as he was the first person to read Kevin Williamson’s then titled Scary movie script and told film producer Bob Weinstein “if you don’t want to make this movie, then I don’t know what you’re looking for?” Scream would go onto to rejuvenate the horror genre in the 90’s and early 2000’s. Richard speaks about his involvement with the first two films from a production standpoint to the meticulous details of Kevin Williamson’s writing and horror icon Wes Craven’s direction.
