Lacking
I tried to enjoy this but a male narrator for a female character was confusing, weird & the main reason I gave up. A female narrator could have made this a much better listen.

I quite liked this book - it started off really well, very intriguing. It had me really absorbed until around chapter 20/21 when it went a bit off on a tangent. I was disappointed with the ending. Really should have kept it a ghost story. But a good book nonetheless.

I've listened to a ton of podcast novels, and this is by far one of the lowest on my list. Besides a not so great story, the performance is not that great. A spooky ghost story with a twist of romance and a sprinkle of horror. Be sure to stick with it to the end, because the final chapter doesn't disappoint. Enjoy!
