If you have the time...
The dialog is choppy and self consious. The characters reactions seem to be canned, or overkill. It is easy to see when the author hits his "groove" as the writing becomes less awkward. Most of these errors could be fixed by a simple re-write. The story is interesting- when the grammer errors don't get in the way.
