As a literary podcast on Lovecraft, it equally excels. The back-story of the featured works and the man himself give valuable and insightful context to the life, times, and world(s) of H. P. Lovecraft. This show truly pays homage to him, his works, and his legacy.
I especially enjoy the frank discussion of the hosts and their ability to praise, critique, and poke fun in equal measure. The original music, interviews, readers, and atmosphere are right on the money. This is a great companion for the experienced Lovecraft reader and a wonderful introduction (or should I say emersion) for those who have never read the stories. It truly has something for everyone… from terrible old men to unnamable horrors and things worse still!”
