Mike Amman invited me to watch a sharptail lek from a ground blind, and to help set up live traps, with the hope of getting a radio collar on a bird that will help The Wisconsin Sharptail Grouse Society to keep this remnant population on the path to flourishing and expand their range. This is true conservation work, in real time!!
