Description
This year’s first-ever HYPEFEST featured exclusive product releases, immersive installations and live performances. However, one of the more significant highlights of the festival are the HYPETALKS discussions led by jeffstaple. One of the sessions touched upon “Art + Commerce,” gleaning key insights from leading artists Joshua Vides and Sue Tsai as well as wizened industry figure Sky Gellatly on how to conduct business in the ever-changing art world. From making artworks accessible and affordable for younger consumers to creating standout designs for commercial projects and fashion collaborations as an artist, the artistic yet business-savvy panel drop nuggets of wisdom that will hopefully inspire budding creatives.
