““two dudes talk movies!” has got to be the podcast format with the lowest success rate so huge respect to will and justin for hitting it out of the park. hard to put into words the secret sauce that makes important cinema club better than many similar podcasts, but as in many classic films, sometimes the elements just all come together in the right way.
will’s acerbic wit and justin’s infectious enthusiasm make a great pairing and both hosts are both broadly knowledgeable and charmingly specific in their expertise. easy to binge 100+ episodes cos it just feels like hanging out with two smart friends.”
