Excellent, unbiased reporting of the truth when you “really” look at the issue
Serial and Zoe’s reporting is top notch. You can tell she took the time, and spent considerable time, to really get to the root of the problem which is evident even today. Disenfranchisement of the minority vote and pure racism in all of its concealed forms from those that blame others to alleviate their own guilt or just to hide their crimes. It’s bait and switch that people who are not “those people” try to use to divert attention to the truth. I am so glad to be hearing this reporting and my hope is that it opens people’s eyes to the truths going on now and why voter suppression laws are attempting, and in some cases, succeeding, to be passed to try and reduce (or remove) the minority vote that the pale people in power don’t agree with. The right to vote should be one of the few places, like justice, law and order, and political office should have no color barrier but that is not the case and it deeply saddens me. I look forward to the rest of the series.

Another excellent show from serial productions. Very highly produced and interesting the whole way though.

It started out interesting, but became boring very quickly. Serial usually makes such good podcasts, which makes it all the more a shame this one is so dull.
