“I worked on the Democrat’s campaigns for NC-9 and the discovery of this fraudulent vote stealing was one of the most gut-wrenching and pivotal experiences of my career. We might have seen it coming; It followed a long pattern and practice of using the same operatives to steal elections going all the way back to events like the Wilmington Massacre during Reconstruction times. Today’s iteration of the NC GQP has nothing but contempt for democracy and its messaging inspires and activates our homegrown domestic terrorists. They have to be held accountable for the power they have acquired through voter suppression, gerrymandering, and this disturbingly brazen vote stealing.
