Serious Geeks Discussing Geek Culture Seriously
I found The Incomparable via an article on Boing Boing. I picked up the (then) most recent episode and am now quickly working my way through the archive. I have yet to be disappointed with an episode. GOOD THINGS ABOUT THE INCOMPARABLE: * Excellent production values. This isn't some guys with crappy headsets talking on Skype. If it is, it doesn't show. * Excellent panels. The panel members seem to be chosen for their interest in and knowledge of the week's subject. Everyone stays pretty much on-topic; I've yet to hear an episode devolve into random chatter and in-jokes. * Regular updates. Too many podcasts start out strong and quickly peter out or go on an indefinite hiatus, but The Incomparable Podcast has been steadily updating since its inception. Doing a quality podcast on a regular schedule is HARD WORK, and The Incomparable does not seem to fear hard work.

In a future episode they will discuss Boneshaker, a book I like...Read full review »
