“As a parent of a child who runs both cross country and track this podcast is so horrible and uninclusive. It only ever talks about the top runners in the state and only gives glory to the privileged kids who don’t have to worry about anything in life except for running such as the families in Carmel where you coach. As for me I am a dad to a runner and we live in a very rural area and my daughter goes to a school where her team has only 9 athletes and their fastest runner runs around a 6:45 mile and where we live that is very fast and definitely celebrated. Not every runner is going to have the natural talent that someone like kole mathison has but that doesn’t make them any less of a runner. I am just so disappointed that the only representation on this podcast is for the large schools because the two main host are the coaches at Carmel. Please do better and I might actually appreciate your “efforts”.
