Could be worse
Brian Cox is certainly a very interesting host and mostly has much to say, however the balance between comedy and information seems to be skewed on the side of comedy which perhaps would be a pro- if the comedians were of the same standard as the average scientist on the show. I second the complaint against Robert Ince, perhaps if he were to choose his moment with more tact? Or perhaps if he replaced quantities with quality in terms on comedic material. The show is still entertaining however, and worth an occasional listen.

I think Robin Ince's comic timing and jovial, cynical demeanour perfectly offset Cox's good spirited incisive take on science. The show is accessible, entertaining, pertinent and brilliant. I'd highly recommend it to science experts and newbies alike.Read full review »
