Life work balance - love this reframe
Wow 🤩 what a great interview. And I agree with the whole reframing of work life balance to put the focus on life before work and call it life work balance!!! Hearing Alyson’s story and more importantly the incredible and insightful pure perspective from her 6 year old who unfiltered and unapologetically said “mom I don’t want that for my future” (of course I’m sure I messed the quote up. But something similar she said letting her mom know that she does not want to be like her when she grows up. And work so much! Wow 😮 Being a mother of 4 myself that completely hit home and resonated deeply with me. I sometimes get down on myself feeling like I could be so much more successful if… BUT what I have to remember is that I am choosing my family first. I am choosing to be with my kids as much as I can. Not miss any of their games. Cheer them on and support them. Drive them to school. Whatever it is that might mean I am not able to take a business meeting in the evening or weekend… because that’s my choice and want to be there with and for my kids! This was fantastic. Thank you ladies for sharing and giving and being vulnerable! And authentic. Five stars ⭐️ 🌟 ⭐️ 🌟 ⭐️ Love your fan Tania

This first episode is engaging and left me wanting to hear more. I was drawn into the story April told of her childhood and how her passion for storytelling developed. I feel like I grow as a person when someone tells their story authentically and that is what April did in this episode....Read full review »
