Description
Rachel Ungerer is a local Bay Area queer disabled painter whose artistic
journey is making waves. Her unique curation for the international
disability community, Diversability, caught the attention of ABC7 News,
leading to a featured interview on Disability Pride.
At Stanford's social justice writing class, Rachel's guest lecture on
art as activism resonated deeply. Her captivating paintings challenge
societal perceptions of disabled individuals as burdens, celebrating
mutual care and kink as equal facets of life.
Rachel's bold voice and unique perspectives attracted an invitation from
Extreme Restraints to discuss Kink and Disability on their show, XR
University. Her extraordinary artwork is showcased at the sex-positive
cafe, Wicked Grounds, in a captivating solo exhibition.
