My favorite resource!!!
I’ve been listening to the podcast for about 4 years, since my husband’s field season took him out of town for large portions of the summer. He had always grown the veg and I took care of the landscaping. His work life changing meant, if I wanted vegetables, I’d have to grow them myself. I quickly became a radical convert and have since been turning our city lot into a permaculture micro urban farm. The joegardener podcast is my favorite resource for questions about growing a specific plant, cultivating natives, increasing wildlife diversity, general garden practices, and which books to buy! I have three topics I’d like to hear more about on your show: growing mushrooms in the garden, using waste wool for soil moisture retention and perennial edibles (think perpetual potatoes and Egyptian walking onions rather than rhubarb and herbs). Thank you and keep the geeky science coming!! Trish Gardner from Idaho

More reviews of The joe gardener Show
A high quality podcast which is unfortunately kind of a rare thing for gardening topics. An added bonus is that often there is a companion episode of the Growing A Greener World show for visuals. Great guests and of course an engaging host with Joe. Keep em coming, please. - Dave

Very informative. I’m a beginner gardener and I love the variety that Joe offers in this podcast. I am learning something new in every episode. Joe has inspired me to become an organic gardener. I can’t wait to build my first compost bin. Thank you Joe.

I found your podcast about two months ago and have listen to all episodes. Even though I am out here in Northern Cal, the information is very useful. You also have a great podcast voice!!!! Please keep the info coming. Thanks so much.
