I had great hopes for this podcast at the beginning because Jon is undoubtedly a talented radio presenter and a controversial figure. That’s the ingredient that have always made his shows interesting. Sadly though for me this podcast is so disjointed, it doesn’t know what it wants to be, a political show , a daily diary or a Simple as Fat advertiser.
They are becoming more and more intermittent as well. Yet Jon still asks for donations at the beginning and the ends of the podcasts. For everyone else it’s a completely free platform, Jon often says you won’t here this anywhere else. When in reality it’s a roundup of what’s already been in the news the previous day.
For me there is nothing unique about this podcast a lot of shouting and anger. It’s a shame because in his prime Jon was a very talented presenter. I’m sure it will appeal to some people and that’s the beauty of podcasting , you can dip in and out of whatever you want to listen to.”
