“Jon is great and is pretty much the only reason I listen. He’s plugged in, well spoken, and has good insights on the team. The other host is fine. Nothing special.
My only complaint: for a 27 minute podcast there are 4 breaks for 1-2 minute ads. I understand the show is free and ads are part of the deal, but 20-30% of the show is just ads. It really breaks the flow for me. Podcasts are usually an enjoyable experience, but this one almost feels like work trying to get through the ads. The ad reads aren’t even entertaining. I can sit through other podcast’s ad segments, because to a certain extent it’s fun. I don’t feel that way with this one.
I’d accept this as part of the business but no other podcast is like this. It’s really frustrating because besides this, I really really like the show. But this one aspect, to me, is intrusive enough that I’ve gone from listening to every episode, to only listening if the topic is interesting enough.”

“I agree with reviewer Ref Ranger. This podcast does a poor job of transitioning to ads and is the most ad dominant podcast I listen to. I unsubscribed to all other network pods for that reason.
