In this episode, I talk to Evelyn Habasa the founder and director of Ride 4 A Woman, a Community-Based Organization (CBO) in Buhoma that is a force for change; not only for the people it directly and indirectly touches but also for the mountain gorillas who live a short walk away in the UNESCO world heritage site that is Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
This conversation will revolve around collaborative conservation and management, basically touching on community and wildlife relations using the case study of gorillas in our midst.
Also some exciting news, we are for the third week running, Uganda's no.1 travel podcast. We are also among the top 10 Ugandan podcasts according to several sources on google and also ranked among Feedspot's top 15 podcasts to look out for in 2023 https://blog.feedspot.com/uganda_podcasts/
