This month the World Wildlife Fund revealed in their latest Living Planet Report 2022 that over 69% of global biodiversity has been on a continuous decline since 1970 with the biggest reductions being seen to happen in what we know to be the world’s most biodiverse continents.
The report shows a 94% Biodiversity loss in South America, 66% reduction in Africa; and 55% reduction in Asia- Pacific.
