Poignant But Could Be More Bird-Centric
Josh Johnson is a keen observer and humanist, whose depth of regard for the subject of his art - the quotidian - is displayed in his careful furtherance of the oral tradition. Logan Nielsen, the bard’s handler, serves admirably his position, his guttural enjoyment serving to vivify the material, while his rootedness keeps the show from floating off into the ethereal plane the observer would sometimes rather call his home. The listener’s one critique would concern the titular Johnson’s seeming inexperience in augury, without which the trajectory of aircraft eludes the grasp of his understanding.

Fantastic podcast, great comedy, cohost is great and Josh has amazing stories. Really makes the day better. Between this and Forth & Ten comedy podcast, two of the absolute best.
