Two-faceted podcast
Episodes with Prof. Strogatz are generally better. I tend to listen to the ones dealing with phys and math. Two great old episodes that I remember vividly: one on topological quantum computation and another on the anomaly detection in heart’s electric signals. I like way less the episodes with prof. Levin. They are typically superficial and inaccurate (Yes I know it’s science popularization, but there are different ways of doing it).

Outstanding podcast! Dr. Strogatz does a great service to obtaining insights from those in the trenches of knowledge creation and insight generation who are specialists in their fields of math and science. I look forward to every episode. Keep up the great work Steven Strogatz!!

There are heaps of science podcasts which cover interesting topics but are targeted at a pop-science level and never get down to the interesting details. Every single episode of this one I’ve learnt something new and genuinely surprising and I LOVE it.

A show that makes difficult science understandable for the rest of us. Brilliant!
