Nigerian-American, Visual Artist, Activist, Designer and Author Biodun Abudu calls in to The Junk and Jam Hour to share his remarkable journey of exploring his many creative endeavors – bravely going against the traditional gender roles that were set within the Nigerian culture. Beginning with his purpose as an accomplished storyteller and author, Biodun talks about using his literature and platform to not just tell the untold stories of victims of sexual assault, but provide a safe space for them to begin overcoming their trauma and isolation, and heal from their past transgressions and abuse.
