Singer and Songwriting Duo - Sanderling

Description
Pop-ish, Alt-ish, and Folk-ish Singer and Songwriting Duo Sanderling - consisting of power couple Singer, Songwriter and Musician Annie Nirschel and Singer, Composer and Pianist Russ Stone - join Christopher Albert on The Junk and Jam Hour via Zoom to talk about their exciting journey in music together, which began as contributors in the band Union Street - and how the current state of the world inspired not only new music, but a new venture, band and upcoming EP. While their music has been lauded as "manic earworms," they have self-described their own music as, "if the guy having a breakdown at a cocktail party brought a tambourine." Once a songwriting force who created melodies in the backdrop of the erratic, loud NYC environment – they now enjoy creating and recording new music from the beautiful, eccentric city of Austin. Currently working on a wonderfully fun EP at King Electric Studios - they share with us their exquisitely unique music, including single entitled Marigolds.
