Lost potential
It could be a good radio show. They get knowledgeable guests and about 50% of the time they do ask good questions. However the other 50% of the time they act like 19 year old college kids who got to spend a day on the radio. Between the sophomoric “Whoooaaaa” they do together and the times they will have a good guest on for 20 minutes and will spend 12-14 of those minutes asking that person personal questions or bantering back and forth about banal topics before finally getting to sports, the show falls flat. On average I would say you get about ten minutes out of each hour they are on getting good information. The rest of the time is like a mix of shock jock and sheer immaturity. The show has potential if it didn’t try to be funny and clever. It isn’t funny enough to be entertaining and it isn’t serious enough to satisfy ones need for sports talk. It falls flat on both.
