Vespe did, so he asked two well-read Kingcast favorites, Mallory O'Meara (GIRLY DRINKS) and Meredith Borders (FANGORIA), to come in and break down the rare instances where King folded in holidays like Christmas and Halloween into his books and short stories.
While he tends to avoid centering almost all of his stories around holidays, he does often set them in Winter. We discuss that, the New England of it all, and take some wild stabs at why he keeps returning to the cold in his stories.
