“Whether you have been a fan of the Knicks for years now or are a new fan to the franchise- one thing is obvious when you pay attention to the media surrounding this team- in general it’s a bunch of cheap hot takes with no credibility or integrity behind them, especially from some of the biggest names in NY media.
Macri is a life long fan of the Knicks and bring that excitement and enthusiasm to his journalism. He breaks down the things that go over your head like Mitch’s sub tweets and does deep dives into the things you care about.. like why isn’t quick getting more minutes. Overall, it is refreshing to hear his take after a great win win or a defeating loss. This podcast makes it easy to go through the many lows and exhilarating highs of this basketball team. In addition, his cohost Andrew Cohen, is a sharp mind and quick whip and keeps Macri grounded. The guests he has on are also extremely knowledgeable and you can tell have a respect for him.
Also having to listen or read Marc Berman for any amount of time should be torture
