Listen now
Description
Assoc Professor Stephen Kent (Psychology, La Trobe University) and his team have studying calorie restrictions and how this can alter the immune response. Restricting calories and changing the diet can alter behaviour, but his study has found that restricting your calories as little as 25% can greatly decrease the duration of a fever. While it has significant effects on your health his studies have been focusing on neurological benefits. Copyright 2014 La Trobe University, all rights reserved. Contact for permissions.
