Great concept, poor execution
Concept of using stats to take an objective look at sports couldn't be better, plus love what 538 does. Unfortunately, Kate basically just makes her own hot takes and undermines the premise. She has an amazing understanding of women's basketball, but no intuition for stats, and only follows football and basketball (plus a NY Giants and Mets homer). Neil is great (more stuff with him. Loved ahead of their time) and chad is a good moderator, has good flow. Overall, just not delivering on the promise. Kate has some interesting thoughts and insights, but just not analytical at all so not quite the right fit for her. Also, it's gone gradually down hill over last 6 months

If this podcast was your...Read full review »
