“In general I like the show, but the way they use stats hasn't always held up to the standards they had set initially. There's felt like a bit of a shift away from debunking hot takes using data. That being said, it's still quite enjoyable and there are more hits than misses. No podcast hits its mark 100% of the time, but Hot Takedown does what it sets out to do often enough that I'll keep listening. That being said, I'd love to see the push back into more stats and analytics. It feels like that quality of that analysis hasn't been there of late.”
